Fun with slow motion

Cobbles

Freak

Both available in 720 or higher if you can process it.

I can completely relate to what I am seeing in the cobble video. In my inability to relate to Timmy's throwing motion, I realize why my fastball topped out at 70mph.

Normally I have been tossing posts like this over at the Velocanoose check it out for an aggregation of images and videos.

Those guys are faster in slow-mo than I am in real time. Thanks for putting my ego in check. Dang.

Great video, but is it wrong for me to wish that it was Liz Hatch riding those cobbles?

Looks like Big Time Timmy Jim is throwing his two-seam cut fastball here. That high-res slow motion is so great. An overhead would have been cool, too!

Scott,
Yep

JRA,
I would suggest you look for footage of the 1996 olympic MTB race.

Lee,
Big time timmy jim? How many nicknames does he have... I agree on the overhead view to see how far back and back the arms go.

When I saw the slo-mo cobbles, I thought Jan Heine had produced a slick TV ad for the Gran Bois Hetre. :-)

And his stride is so long for his size! BTTJ is his fake funny nickname:
