Moscalines Santa Barbara correspondent passes on the following Santa Barbara solstice parade photos. No motorized floats allowed. Apparently most were just push floats, but a giant rickshaw and this big trike were among the few creative powered vehicles.

I want one in British racing green!
I hope you also noticed that, along with that interestingly engineered jackshaft front-wheel drive setup he's also using an internally geared hub.
There's some interesting things going on there... and I still want one in green. ;)
